Tracking Range — How it Works

There are two “range” types:

1. Near you (Bluetooth):
   If the tracker is close to your phone, you can play a sound and locate it. The range varies depending on the environment (walls, crowds, inside a bag), so there’s no single guaranteed fixed distance.

2. Far away (Network finding):
   When it’s far, it uses the Find My / Find Hub network. Nearby devices can detect it and securely update its location in your app, so you may see its location even when it’s far away (depending on how many devices are around it).

How to Pair (Setup)

iPhone (Apple Find My)

1. Turn on Bluetooth and Location Services

2. Open Find My app → Items

3. Tap + → Add Other Item

4. Select the tracker → tap Connect → name it

Android (Find Hub / Find My Device)

1. Turn on Bluetooth and Location

2. Bring the tracker close to your phone

3. You’ll get a pairing/add notification → tap Add

4. It will appear inside Find Hub, then you can name it and track it
